Über Whatshisname (Sebastian Burdon)
Er wurde 1982 in Ostpolen geboren. Heute lebt und arbeitet er in London, UK. Mit 7 Jahren hat er mit Atari 130 XE angefangen, seine erste digitale Kunst zu kreieren. Nachdem er 2006 nach London gezogen ist und als Assistent etablierter britischer Künstler gearbeitet hat, erschaffe er sowohl mit digitalen als auch mit traditionellen Medien Kunst zu schaffen.

Das Ziel meiner Kunst ist es, auszudrücken, was nicht mit Worten ausgedrückt werden kann. Ich möchte den Betrachter ermutigen, die Umgebung zu betrachten und sie auf spöttische, unorthodoxe Weise in Frage zu stellen.
Ein Alias "Whatshisname" ist inspiriert von der Tatsache, dass ich mich nicht mehr an die Namen anderer Künstler erinnere, und von dem Song "Whatshername" von Green Day.

 

About Whatshisname (Sebastian Burdon)
I was born in the eastern Poland in 1982. Today he lives and works in London, UK. I started creating his first digital art at the age of 7 while using Atari 130 XE. After moving to London in 2006 and having worked as an assistant to well established British artists, I create using both digital and traditional mediums. The aim of my art is to express what cannot be express with words. I want to encourage the viewer to look at surrounding world and question it in derisive, unorthodox way.
An alias “Whatshisname” is inspired by the fact that I have trouble remembering other artists’ names and by the Green Day’s song “Whatshername”.
