Alessandro Padovan

Alessandro Padovan (born 1983), self-taught and mechanical engineering student, founded an artist duo called Drill Monkeys Art Duo in 2012 and started his own business from January 2017. It's an adventure that engaged him with an alternative technique: self-tapping screws and acrylic paint on the plate.

A way that  Part of the need is to create three-dimensional works, ironically stepping between sculpture and painting. The vines are at different depths, creating different levels through which the figures take shape.

The technique of screw art is a little-known technique whose main goal is to introduce this type of art. In recent years, Alessandro has managed to be present in galleries, auction houses, art fairs in Italy and abroad and at important charity gala events.

The originality of this work is evident in the technique and the three-dimensional effect obtained by screwing together very common screws of different depths that can be painted on, becoming a contemporary sculptural and pictorial work.  Now with us in the NL gallery.

Alessandro Padovan (born 1983), self-taught and mechanical engineering student, founded an artist duo called Drill Monkeys Art Duo in 2012 and started his own business in January 2017. It is an adventure that concerned him with an alternative technique: self-tapping screws and acrylic paint on the plate.

A path that is part of the need to create three-dimensional works and, ironically, to step between sculpture and painting. The vines are at different depths and form different levels, through which the figures take shape.

The screw art technique is a little known technique, the main goal of which is to present this type of art. In recent years, Alessandro has managed to be present in galleries, auction houses, art fairs in Italy and abroad as well as at important benefit gala events.

The originality of this work is obviously the technique and the three-dimensional effect, which are achieved by screwing together very common screws at different depths, which can be painted on them and become a contemporary sculptural and visual work. Now with us in the NL gallery.
